Dr. Fleming is a public speaker, author, educator, and therapist who specializes in trauma resolution. She was the Director of Education and Faculty Development in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University when she retired from full-time academia in 2006 and has been running her own private practice ever since. 

Position Announcement:

Emerald Springs Counseling is in search of a trauma informed licensed mental health professional to join our Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Program.

Minimum Qualifications: 

1. Masters degree in mental health counseling, clinical social work, or a closely related field.

2. Current license for clinical and/or professional practice in the State of Connecticut with appropriate professional liability insurance (or eligibility for) in place.

3. Training (certification preferred) in EAGALA and/or Natural Lifemanship

We have part time positions available that could grow into full time with benefits. Compensation range is $30-$50 per session, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Please reach out through our Contact Us request page.
